Love Makes a Difference

Today was different, I felt like I didn't want to be around people today. I had to go to the bank and on the way I saw a stranger trying to hitch a ride. My son was in the truck with me in his car seat. When I saw her I was moved with compassion. God said go show her my love...and I wasn't too sure about this. I said if she's there when I go back, then I'll pick her up. I don't usually pick up strangers, but when God says so, we better obey. I stopped and she asked for help, I told her that's what I'm here for, where do you want to go? She smiled, and crawled into the truck, she couldn't seem to maneuver very well. I told her, I don't usually pick up people, but God told me to. And I let her know that God loves her and their are people that do care. Her eyes filled with tears, she was so happy that I stopped. She needed some charcoal for a fireplace outside, so she could cook her supper. When we stopped at the store for the charcoal she didn't have enough cash for the bag, the generous man said, lady you can have it, I will buy this for you. Again her eyes filled with tears, she couldn't believe the man did that for her. I told her today is your day...God wants you to know his love. After a few stops, I took her to her home. She was lonely and she said she's been "down" for a long, long time. As I shared Jesus with her, I could see hope in her begin to sprout. After a great big hug, I went on my way. I'm going to continue to pray for her...this was a blessing for me today. Sometimes when life seems heavy, there's always someone else that is going through more than we can imagine. God's Love is Always Enough to Take Us Through!

As Jesus did when He saw multitude of people, He was moved with compassion.

I have been praying for compassion and may our lives be a testimony of His love.

God bless.
