Guess where I went???

Yes!!!! I finally got to put my feet in the sand, and taste the salt water on my lips!!!! Here's how it came about... the boys were invited to go fishing at the beach with Pastor John. The rest of us were going to go too, but Bill had a job to do so we couldn't go. Around lunch time I got a call from Bill saying,"get your sunscreen and let's go." The lady he was supposed to work for cancelled until another time. Yay!!! We left at 2:00 p.m. Thursday and came back Friday evening. We had so much fun. I had a kick butt go cart and I was lapping everyone, that is until my own husband wiped me out and I crashed into the wall. It was awesome!!! Isaac loved catching sand crabs, and he was holding the little sharks that the boys caught. He liked throwing them back into the ocean. Josh and Billy got fried! Hmmm, you think they would have put the sunscreen on that I sent with them before they got burnt! Maybe, just maybe they learned a lesson. Hannah was so funny on the go cart...she could just reach the pedal. Her dress kept blowing up and everyone was laughing. (she had her bathing suit on underneath) It was comical to watch her try to hold her dress down and drive at the same time. Anyhow, today is Father's Day and Bill had a very special day today. I'm thankful to my Heavenly Father who has loved me from the very start. He is so wonderful and always there. He even cares for the smallest of things that bother me. It might be something very insignificant to someone else, but God is always willing to listen. I love Him !!!

I am sooooo ready to go to the beach that I can taste it! We only live about 2 1/2 to 3 hours from the beach and we hardly ever go. I didn't even go last year. Every time I go to the beach I am so amazed at how awesome God is. The sound of the waves rolling in, the smell of salt in the air, the cool night breezes. Mmmm, I want to be there so bad. The wet sand squishing between my toes would feel so good right now. I just got back from a walk and I'm very hot...but, I'm sure you couldn't tell. Hee! I'm praying for God to make a way for a trip to the beach!!!

Hot !!!

Here are some of us on our trip to Ohio, sorry about my bunny ears...I try not to wear them too much. LOL !

The temperature is rising and I'm hot, hot, hot !!! Just got back from a short walk, I'll go later when it cools down a bit. Our youth group will have it's end of school party tomorrow night. We'll have praise and worship, honor this years graduates, have our Ten Commandment relay, a water bomb fight, and a yummy celebration afterward. I can't wait !!!! Hope ya'll know your ten commandments in order!!!

Bullets??? I'll take a whack at it !!!

• I'm sitting here with my belly growling, smelling the wonderful aroma of pizza just out of the oven. But, I'm stuck here taking a whack at some bullets.
• Isaac, my 3 year old is stacking toilet paper rolls on the kitchen table making an amazing "Tower of Tissue"
• My nail polish is wearing off of my toenails.
• Swimming was great until we were bombarded by suicidal horse flies. Panic struck Hannah and Isaac. I told them," I refuse to let these evil blood suckers push me out of my own swimming pool." Instead we went to splashing, screaming, and smashing.
• Josh was pushing Isaac around at Food Lion in a race car buggy. Being he has his driving permit he thinks he has permission to drive anywhere. Even around the produce center of the store. I only had to tell him to stop about 5 or 6 times. He only crashed into a couple of things. Hmmm.
• How come I always want to watch Willy Wonka??? I only like the 1971 version. It must be my unending love for chocolate that prompts this.
• It's no wonder my son Billy wants to go with his friends instead of going with us to the store. Is he embarrassed? Hmmm :)
• My skin is itching from sunburn. I really need to invest into a back scratcher. Or I can just pay Hannah 25 cents per min. (She'll do it for that)
• How come people scream their heads off at basketball games, but when it comes to shouting and praising the Lord they hold their tongue?
• I am soooo ready for school to be out !!!
• OK, I tried some bullets....it is actually very fun ! :)

Hey everyone! It's already June 1st. Where does the time go? I just want to take a moment to thank God for being so good to me and my family. He is an on time God, always there and willing to listen. He's answered so many prayers, he's been our provider, and especially here lately, our comfort. What I love most about Him, is that I can talk to Him about anything. Things that I could never tell anyone else. And he cares about what I have to say. That is so Awesome to me. I want to encourage each and every one of you to keep pressing on in the Lord.
