Happy Thanksgiving !!!

I just wanted to say Happy Thanksgiving to all my blogger friends!!! Each one of you are so special and God loves you. I'm so thankful for God's love, mercy and grace. Be blessed today and always!!! I Am Blessed!!!

I can't even begin to thank the Lord enough for how much He has blessed me! With Thanksgiving right around the corner, I find myself taking more time to be thankful! I ask myself...Am I taking for granted how blessed that I really am ? I look at my children and I see how healthy and happy they are...and I realize it's because of the love and mercy of my God. Hannah and Isaac are such blessings to me. They bring so much joy and don't forget the entertainment!!! LOL There aren't to many dull moments around our house. Billy went hunting with David. David got his first deer today. It was interesting watching them clean the deer. Josh is getting real good with his bow. He hit the bullseye from way up in the tree stand. You just never know what each day holds. Today my husband, Ed, Josh, and I cut down a big tree that was leaning toward my parents house. With a lot of prayer and a lot of muscle the tree fell right where we wanted it to fall. Wheeew!!! We just finished watching the movie "UP" . It was funny, and strange at the same time! It's no wonder we're so goofy around here!

I Choose to Trust GOD !!!!

No matter what any one may think, or no matter what any one says about me... I choose to trust the Lord Jesus. He's my Savior and he knows the truth of everything!!! Is there someone who may be slandering your name? Or is there someone who is being used of the enemy to try to discourage your walk with the Lord? Or maybe trying to destroy your witness??? Don't fret!!! God is in control!!!! God's word says,

"No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgement thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is of me, saith the Lord." Isaiah 54:17

If this is you that I'm talking about...remember, you belong to the Lord and He's on your side! :o)

Dirty and Lovin It !!!!

This is what life is all about! Even in the messiest and dirtiest of times we shall still "Let GOD Arise!" Just looking at Josh and noticing what his shirt said...ministered to me. He's happy as can be in this picture. He just got back from riding 4wheelers with Billy and David in their favorite mud hole! I'm gonna let GOD arise in me...how about you ?

Happy Birthday Billy !!!

Billy is 14 now!!! His birthday was yesterday. My boys just keep growing up on me. I'm so thankful for Billy, he's very special and very funny. God has special things planned for him...it's awesome to see how God works in each child's life. Billy is feeling better...he, Josh, and I all had the flu this past week. Thank God we're doing better!

Happy Autumn Everyone !!!

Today is the 1st day of fall !!! Yay!! I love this time of year. God has such an awesome way of doing things. Did you ever stop to think about how beautiful the trees are even when the leaves are dying? Only God can take something that's dying and make it beautiful! It's the same way when we are living in misery because of sin. It's amazing how God can totally bring life and joy to a person through a simple repentant heart. When we die to self...we can live through Christ!!!

Simple pleasures of life!

Serve the Lord with gladness!!!

Oh, how I have to remind myself of this. To serve the Lord with gladness. No matter what the day brings or what's going on around us. Whether we have enough food to eat this week, or whether or not we're able to meet this months bills. Either sick, well, lonely or tired...we are to serve the Lord with gladness.

Father in the name of Jesus, help me today to serve you with gladness in my heart and a praise upon my lips.
